Medicaid Mechanics, LLC is not a law firm. Although we do have relationships with Certified Elder Law Attorneys, we do not provide legal services or legal advice. Instead, we provide technical advice to nursing homes and law firms throughout the State of Georgia regarding how to get Medicaid applications approved for nursing home residents and EDWP (formerly CCSP) applicants. Working with your office, we will organize supporting documents you gather, review them to determine whether there are any apparent eligibility issues and submit the application; if we are working for a law firm, we will rely on your legal direction. We then work with caseworkers to secure an approval. If an appeal is required, and if the resident is not already represented, we will assist the resident or resident representative in securing the services of an Elder Law Attorney to directly represent the resident. This prevents the nursing home from having a conflict of interest or a standing issue related to the application.
Medicaid Mechanics, LLC does not accept individuals as clients. If you are seeking Medicaid approval for yourself or a loved one, we suggest that you contact an Elder Law Attorney near you. You can locate an Elder Law Attorney using the “Find a Lawyer” tool at the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys or at the National Elder Law Foundation.
